JW JONES HAD THE JOINT JUMPIN' LAST NIGHT

Ottawa's own JW-JONES BAND www.jw-jones.com had the joint jumpin' at BLUES ON THE RIDEAU @ THE COVE INN, Westport last night. His blistering guitar playing is famous in Canada and around the world having performed in 19 different countries over 4 continents - and he leaves for another 3 week tour to Scandinavia shortly. JW has played with legends like Kim Wilson of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Hubert Sumlin from Howlin' Wolf's band, David "Fathead" Newman, Little Charlie Baty and Junior Watson to name a few. Dan Aykroyd has called them "one amazing Blues band". All the more special to have them playing in the intimate setting of The Cove. It was JW's third visit to the BOTR Series. The Cove's delicious buffet last night featured southern fried chicken and maple glazed salmon plus the usual excellent assortment of salads, veggies and dessert earning the usual 10 out of 10 rating on most of the Comment Cards.
